Review by hotel critic
During my recent city break at the charming Paço de Vilharigues, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and the beautiful décor that seamlessly blends the historic essence of a 17th-century manor house with modern comforts. The stunning views and the idyllic surroundings, particularly the picturesque small city of Vouzela, provided a serene backdrop for our stay. My companions and I thoroughly enjoyed the refreshing pool and delightful breakfasts, while the hosts offered an exceptionally warm welcome, sharing fascinating insights about the house and local attractions. The thoughtful touches, like the air-conditioned rooms featuring private entrances and a lovely seating area, made our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to indulge in authentic hospitality while exploring the vibrant culture and natural beauty of the region.
